About Jim Morency
Insurance was in my blood long before I majored and received a BSBA in Insurance from Drake University. My father owned an agency in Hinsdale, Illinois, but I struck out on my own and moved South away from those Midwest winters.
I earned my stripes with 7 years of underwriting, followed by 5 years of insurance agency marketing. In 1991, I started in commercial sales.
Underwriting commercial property, liability, automobile, workers compensation, and umbrella coverages provided a solid foundation in commercial lines business.
Placing commercial accounts with various carriers and assisting producers with sales as a Marketing Manager exposed me to a wide variety of businesses.
As a producer, I focus on finding insurance and risk transfer solutions for companies in these industries—Lake and Pond Management, Environmental, Manufacturing (Importers and Exporters), and Non-Profit Organizations.

Our family's resided in Jacksonville since 1991. I'm an Eagle Scout and have served as a Boy Scout Leader in the community for over 30 years. I was honored to receive the Silver Beaver Award, the highest honor in the local North Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America. We're active members of St. Joseph's Church in Mandarin.
